Michael Buble concert

Posted

I went to a Michael Buble concert last night and while this isn’t my usual type of music, I must admit it was a pretty good show. He is a funny guy and knows how to entertain the crowd. It is unfortunate for him that I saw Paul McCartney 2 days ago which is basically an impossible act to follow.

The opening band Naturally 7 were pretty good, 7 guys all beat boxing and singing, no instruments. It was very impressive, especially their version of While my Guitar Gently Weeps.
I will give the concert a 7/10 and the reason for losing the 3 points is because the show was fairly slow. I have heard all his CD’s and he has a lot of upbeat jazzy songs and covers, but he didn’t play many of them and kept it fairly mellow.
I don’t know the names of all the songs, so here is my version of the setlist which i will update once I get the real song names.
Cry me a river
Take it all ???
What did u think
Some nonsense song
Everything
World on a string
…Unknown love song (saved the best of me for you)
Crazy love
Georgia on my mind
For once in my life
Twist and shout
Dream if you
Good old hockey game
Home
Save the last dance for me
How sweet it is (to be loved by you) 🙂
Heartache tonight
Haven’t met u yet

Encore
Feeling good
Me and Mrs. Jones
A song for you
