Primus & the Chocolate Factory, Danforth Music Hall Review

Posted

The Primus concerts were amazing.
Primus at Danforth Music Hall, Toronto, ON, CanadaI went to both shows this past weekend at the Danforth Music Hall and was blown away by their creativity. They played the first set with a simple stage and all their old classic songs. The second set is where the insanity began. The recreated quite a few songs to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder Version) as an edited version of the movie played in the background. Both nights I had a big smile all night long.

The second night I picked up an awesome poster from a UK show which was signed by the band. The Toronto posters were good, but the UK poster was amazing.

Songs that stood out to me were The Toys Go Winding Down, and Southbound Pachyderm on the first night. The second night, Mr. Krinkle and Here Come the Bastards. Of course the OompaLoompa songs were amazing, I had a video but it got corrupted.. 🙁
